Broadcast v.s Television

These days, televisions have taken the place of broadcast. There are some reasons for this phenomenon. First, the excitement that the visual stimulation could bring to us is much bigger than the hearing. Second, when watching television, we can see the actor’s facial expressions and lively movements. The amusing effect that television programs can make is truly more profound than the radio programs. However, sometimes, the broadcast might give you more inspirations and touching feelings.
I would like to share one of my experiences. I remembered that it happened when I was a junior high school student. Then, I was listening to a radio program in which is some singers or authors were interviewed. That time, the radio DJ was having a moving interview with a book writer. The book is talking about her daughter who had suffered from cancer, telling all how did her brave daughter fought against the cancer. While listening to the program, I could feel the author’s sincere emotion. Although I didn't see her facial expressions, I could strongly feel the message that she wanted to convey to us. ‘’Never give up! God helps those who help themselves.’’
Try to close your eyes, and open your ears; you may find a different wonderland in the world of broadcast. :)

  1. I remember that listening to a radio program is one of the happiest things in my life while I was about 6 years old. The programs I loved were all fascinating and interesting; however, the qualities of those programs got lower and lower as time went by. Gradually, I found that radio was not attractive to me any longer, and that was probably the reason why I started watching television programs. I think it’s wonderful to have some special hobbies which can make you happy, and I totally agree that you should keep your passion to the radio!

  2. Wow, so it sounds like you like broadcast really much. Although i don't listen to broadcast so often, I actually like it too, cause you can listen to it when you're busying doing other things such as reading, studying. And sometimes using different medium can make you have different feelings too. By the way, broadcast makes your eyes more comfortable haha.
